SELEUKID KINGS OF SYRIA. Antiochos VI Dionysos, 144-142 BC. Drachm (Silver, 18 mm, 3.60 g, 1 h), Antiochia on the Orontes, circa 143-142. Radiate and diademed head of Antiochos VI to right. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ / ΑΝΤΙΟΧΟΥ - ΕΠΙΦΑΝΟΥΣ / ΔΙΟΝΥΣΟΥ Spiked Macedonian (or Cretan?) helmet with cheek guard to right, adorned with wild goat's horn above visor; between spike and horn, TPY; to lower right, monogram. SC 2003b. Faint cleaning scratches and somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.

While the obverse may appear to lack rays at first glance, die comparisons show that they are just weakly struck (see Gorny & Mosch 191 (2010), 1646 for a coin struck from the same obverse die)
